Title: Howdy again

I've just gotten a pet, and I'm having trouble training the little bugger. After I summon him, and ask him to follow me, I back away and he disappears. Any Idea what I'm doing wrong?

Also, is it ok to have multiple charactors? If so, is it ok to trade items between them?

There are many problems with pets right now - you can't train them yet, and following is really buggy. Wait for a fix :)

 :sorcerer: Do higher magic levels let you cast more spells? Or do I need to hunt down more glyphs first? And is it possible to combine two glyphs of different ways? (The guide says it is, but so far I haven't been able to).

And for mining, do higher levels increase my chances of sucsessfully finding ore, or is it just for harvesting more advanced stuff?

You need higher magic skills to cast difficult spells, new glyphs give you new spells, and some glyphs of different ways can be combined.
Higher mining skills increase your chances of being successful, and as far as i know (correct me if it changed), you can mine everything, no matter how high your skill is.

Edit: Another question, Awhile after I summon my pet, Rollo, I get the message: "You feel the power to maintain your pet wane."
Is there a way to increase the amount of time that can maintain my pet?
