I\'d guess (if your using a WinTel box) a P3 600/700, win98 or higher, 128 Megs Ram, 50 Megs HD space, and a GeForce256 w/ 64megs of video ram.  I have no idea what the oldest Linux kernel you could use would be.  I think CS uses some pretty modern features.

Anything slower and you\'ll be REALLY hurting if you look down the street. :D

I\'m sure when something resembling an actual game (as opposed to a tech demo) comes out, then it will be a little more nailed down/defined.

Those are to low, try 800mhz, 512mb of ram, and a 64mb Video card.

I am useing a DELL XPS B866r PIII(860mhz) 256 meg RDram, G3 64meg vid, SB live Value. \"Initilizing World\" takes me 5-30 mins. Lag is doable in 800x600 window size. But I still get booted after about 1hr or less.

I should have left it be But I used the 0.2.007 autopatch patch and now,  well,  here I am with a non functioning program called PS.

In 5 days my 2.53Ghz P4, 1.2GB Ram, G4 128meg monster will be unpacked and networked in. By then I should see vast Improvments. 8)

Why is it non-functioning now?

128 MB?? Ha! I have 256 MB and it swaps like hell, rendering the game unplayable. And believe me, my system is clean. This game is the biggest RAM eater I\'ve ever found, I don\'t know how it manages to take that much RAM.
