when i open the planeshift window in full screen it does a weird opeing-closing thing, when i oepned it in window mode, i got an error.
HELP MEH.

it's just the generic diagnostic file thing.

You're going to have to provide more detail. If it's an access violation, what error number does it give you? When you are reporting bugs or errors, you have to give us as much information as possible, all the time. Otherwise we have nothing to work with :)

If it is a "generic" diagnostic thing, please, check it carefully because it doesn't have anything of generic :-)
Give a look at this thread: http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=22325.0, check the file you have saved as diagnostic file and look at the number.
If it is not in the list whatsoever, please, send it to me as the thread specifies.

The name of the file contains the number. Like in PlaneShift_Version_Apr 13 2006_Addr00418B5C.dmp the number would be 00418B5C.

.....why is it that i have to manually copy and paste EVERYTHING myself when there's a new version? it's really irritating. i barely see the point in HAVING an updater.....

What do you mean, everything? You're not copying and pasting the entire thing, just the new updater. Inconveniences happen sometimes, but isn't this a given by now..? :) This really shouldn't be too much effort for you.

sorry.... last time there was a new version i ended up having to copy and paste all the new stuff in manually. the horrors....

Now the updater won't let me update because it says the server is outdated......

Sesmi, we don't double-post. You really have to know this by now. We also recommend that you search before posting - and it's even easier for you right now because Cad's thread (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=23287.0) on the same issue is right below yours.

It's called "Modify", and it's right by "Quote." Don't see it? :>

Maybe you got the weird version.dat too. Delete that and run again.
This should be the last release that you have to manually upgrade the updater, though it only takes about 3 seconds so it's not a big deal.
