I've searched around but haven't found a way to do this yet (there's so many options I haven't bothered looking through them all), but is there a way to filter the "Recent Posts" section? Or an option for me to turn it off? I have no interest in the posts on most boards so it is a fairly useless feature, and at the moment it just clutters up the page even more for me...

It's not really that big or annoying is it? I mean, it's seriously less than 400x1400. ::)

That's your opinion, one I don't share. It obviously annoy's me or I would not have asked the question. Nevertheless that was not the main point of my post, as I'd rather get some functionality out of it.

I really don't see anything wrong with Kiern's suggestion. :surrender:
In fact, this whole forum section is meant to talk about the forums themselves, and allow to suggest for new features.
If you can collapse forum topics using the arrows to be found at the left of sections such as "Announcements", "Support", "Gameplay", etc. I don't see anything wrong in Kiern asking for a similar functionality for "Recent Posts".

There are a few option on the main page of the forum.
near the top in your user info there is show unread topics since last visit
and show replies to your posts.
at the bottom where it shows the recent posts, you can click on the icon to the left for the most recent posts.

Mmmm...
well in the Classic YaBB SE Theme, the options at the top are gone, but anyway, there's still that icon at the left of "most recent posts" that shows them. What Kiern was asking for was actually an icon to hide the notification of those posts.
Similarly to how you can collapse/expand other parts of the forums. ;)
