If we're going to have a real contest, set some guidelines - and if these are signatures for the PS forums specifically, people should remember the size limits: 140x500 pixels max :}

We can't make forum polls, so voting will have to proceed in some other way... Establishing some rules and guidelines though will be good. You already have one - any sig that exceeds the maximum requirements is out ;P

Pfft...well I did that in MS paint just reducing a large space image from google down to a random size, and put those letters in it. =P

I used to run proboards forums, where I could add a background picture, set up a news thing, make boards, etc. and I didn't have to worry about CPU usage then.

So, why does this forum need to be so limited? I mean...is it connected to the game server or something? =/

No, our current hosting company is just evil and we're going to need to switch again pretty soon. Or so we're hoping to do, because a lot of really cool SMF features have been disabled due to them using too much of the host's CPU power evidently or some other such nonsense. Basically it means we have to "lay low" and not use as many things until we move.

I'm just really confused as to how you transfered all usernames and posts from one completely different forum to the other...I mean, when I first read that, I thought acraig did a buttload of copying and pasting to get all the posts transferred...XD
