Title: everything is dark!!

when i play the game and when its at night time in the game on the surface, its almost pitch black, and i can't see very well where i am going, and when i fell off a cliff and died, thx to the darkness ;), i ended up in the underworld, and i can't see ANYTHING at all, and it really ticks me off, can someone help me out with this?

Try adjusting your gamma settings for your monitor.
