didn't know if any other noticed this but the smiles have some strange auras. Looks pretty weird (i am using karyuu's skin, thanks for that btw it's real nice.) look at theese smileys ::) :o >:( ;) :) :innocent: :whistling: :surrender:

They were just designed to be used on a light background. Wouldn't let it bother you, we should have PS-themed smilies eventually.

Yes, those are annoying me too ;P PS-themed smileys sound really cool, but someone else will have to go about making them. My plate is full :}

Also using Kary's theme which rocks and we love her for it, just thought i'd add something... was wondering if im the only one missing the jump to top button >.>
also, changing the smiley set help... i think :P

Hm.. Where is the jump-to-top button supposed to be? :x I don't see it using SMF's default either.

ALSO: Can't you just turn the smileys into .pngs and the white stuff will be invisible? The detective one, and the sweat drip both seem to be like this already, but I think they're .gifs. I know .pngs are a bit bigger, but I don't think the increased size should be too much trouble. Then again, the increased size might shoot bandwith for the server up a bit, even if it is 5kb at a time.

You don't need to make the white stuff invisible, just need to make it dark instead of light. In such a case PNG would compress smaller than GIF, but even if you did go the invisible route with alpha transparency, the size would still be trivial. Animated PNG support is almost nonexistent, though, so the couple animated ones would basically still need to be GIF.
Either way, the issue is doing the work, which would be rather boring. :p I started on it, but I figured it'd be more worth my time to work on PS-themed ones (not that I started on that, either - yay lazyness :p).

Is it just me, or are a lot of the icons missing too? i.e. http://www.world-of-cha0s.hostrocket.com/psscreens/missing_icons.gif

EDIT2: Web servery thing finally fixed. Now, please see image above. Any idea why I'm not getting those icons?

I'm beginning to enjoy using just the Page Up and Page Down buttons instead of scrolling. It's great :]
