Title: Downloading PS
Post by: Kymizer on May 03, 2006, 12:45:26 am
i had to reimage my computer and reinstall Windows, I just downloaded the PS installer from mirror 3 on the downloading page of planeshift.it

it probably downloaded wrong, but it seemed fine to me when i was downloading it, no breaks in the connection or anything...this is the alert that came up

NSIS Error

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or imcomplete
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this intstaller to obtain a new copy (I found this part funny for some reason..not sure though)

It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch
(NOT RECOMMENDED)

already downloading from anouther source, but just wanted to let you know.

EDIT--------OK..I THINK IF FOUND THE PROBLEM..ON MIRROR THREE IT SHOWS UP AS 67.? MB WHILE ON MIRROR TWO ITS 267, SO IT SOUNDS ON MIRROR THREE, THERE ARE 200 MB MISSING... :(

I seem to remember that you shouldn't right-click and 'save as', you should just click them.

umm...hey,  I did click on them, when it shows up if you want to just save or open, it tells you how big the file is.  If thats what your getting too.  I don't right click and 'save as', i didn't mention any of that in my message.

sorry if you see this as rude, but i'm not that ignorant of computers
