I started playing PS only very recently and I am just a noob Klyros Rogue with a coupla daggers and light armour given to me by my guild mentor.
Some things I want to know:
Character Models:
When will the 3D models for the rest of the races be coming out? When the character wipe is done i have a feeling i'll be going for an Enki Enchanter, but I would really like to see the new models for the races such as the Elves (i dont know all the names like the Ynnwyn and Klyros, those are hard to remember) and any new paths coming out so that I dont miss out on anything cool. (l33t d0rfs? Archers?)
More quests:
It seems to be very rare to find quests in the current CB version of PS, and most of them seem abominably confusing and/or hard except Harnquists Iron Ore quest (where is the iron?! ???)
More Places:
All I seem to have found so far is Hydlaa, the forest, and Oja which i have been near but haven't bothered to enter yet. Is there more already or must I wait?
Abilities:
Don't the classes get abilities, or moves, such as... something like maybe Power Hit (uses 10 Mana, attacks the foe with a slightly stronger attack) or Stealth (the rogue can go unseen by enemies to go up to them and hit them unexpectedly). If there are ( i have seen stuff like backstab, set traps) how can I use them?
Weapons and Armour:
Oh god, my Klyros goes around wearing nothing but tribal panties even though i'm wearing a full set of L.A.! I wish i could be seen wearing it.
Also, the only armour I seem to find is the light armour set. Is there anything better?
Swords, swords, and more swords. The only weapon type with the most variation are the swords, only a few types of axes, a couple of different daggers, and no staffs or maces or wands, or knuckleduster-type things? I quote a famous old lady from an advertisement in saying,
"Where's the beef?"
Magic:
Wtf? Magic Shop: Unfindable for noobs. Glyphs: 1,000,000,000,000,000 trias each (or so it seems to us newbs) Magic Spell trainers: OH WHY, WHY ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME?!
Once again,
"Where's the [magical?] beef?"
Conclusion:
I know PS is in it's very early stages, but here's a message to future devs: DON'T RELEASE YOUR GAME UNLESS ITS ACTUALLY GOT CONTENT!

This game has plenty of content to be playable. It's up to you the way you use this content. Yes it may seem touph first starting but once you learn how to make Trias it gets alot more easy. Those gyphs are not really that expensive you will find. I have been playing for 7 months now and have not got bored.

Well, Yes, but we are trying, iron can be found on oja road,ask someone to take you there... basicly there are a good variaty of weapons from axes to swords and yes daggers, although they may be the same type they are most deffinantly a large vairiaty of them. (just because some weapons cannot be bought does not mean they don't exist)
Secondly the glyphs are 1,000 trias each, of course its expensive, it is magic after all, and to have it as cheap as many swords would mean that every joe on the block would have glyphs.... (and every joe already does. XP)
So whats the point if everyone has it? Well other then that it needs to be hard to get because of its great power, it is a glyph after all...
Now as for the main point of this thread, the character deletions and being able to see your armour or not... well patiance is a virtue my friend, and all good things are worth waiting for.... Now I think if you were to tell everyone here to just leave and wait for planeshift to come out fully compleated.... well I think most people here would agree with me when saying "**** that."

You my friend are very very confused based on your very last sentence.
PlaneShift will always be open - that's the goal of the team. There won't be any one "release" where we'll go, "That's it, we're done. You guys can play now." The game will continue to evolve forever, and you guys will always continue to be testers as well as players. Have you read anything on the main site at all? It's just like you're completely unaware of the aims of the project.
Here's a message to you: do your research ;]
Character Models
-- will be released whenever they are done. We do this in our free time, so we have no strict deadlines nor estimates as to when something will be finished. Just be patient.
More Quests
-- very obvious that this needs to be fixed. We know, you know, everyone knows. Repeating it won't make it happen faster.
More Places

Abilities
-- Not all skills are implemented yet. Check the Player Guide and the Race pages on the main website to see some of the abilities that are yet to come.
Weapons and Armor
-- Oh my god, we do this in our free time! ;} Your thread is a waste of that time. I generally try to be really really nice when replying, but you've done absolutely nothing, contributed absolutely nothing even through suggestions, and seem to not understand anything about our work.
Magic

Being a new player doesn't excuse you from not doing your research.

::) Hold your tribal panties, they are working at the game and things will come all in good time. It so easy to make demands, especially when your not doing the work. If you take a look around the forums you will find answers for half the stuff you complained about. Yes ... there are plenty of threads posted that give you an idea of what stages of development certian things are. Good luck.

It's not "released". You are a beta tester (pre-alpha if you ask some). You are expected to play all that you can and post bugs to the bug tracker. That's all.
Stop being disrespectful to a very small group of people that actually volunteer their time to give you a game to test.

Death's realm, the arena, and the underground ruins. Also there is more to Hydlaa than the plaza.

I found it shortly after starting play. Its not that hard for people willing to explore.

Dude, welcome to the world of Opensource development. Its a bit different than your traditional commercial development, since you have to put your stuff out there, hope others find it and help you out. If they didnt release it till it was finished, it'd never get released, since no one would know about it to help work on it.

Cant find magic trainers? try talking to some guys you already visited, if you can find a glyph you can find a magic trainer, unless i read Spell trainer wrong and you want someone teaching you a spell. In that case rtfm, PlaneShift does not work like that, you get your spells from the glyphs you buy, ( thats why they are SOOOO expensive...
