Title: graphics and fonts screwed up

PROBLEM: The graphics and the fonts are completely messed up... see (screenshot of the updater):

I tried the following:
* Updated bios
* Updated mainboard driver
* Updated graphics driver
* Updated directx
* Modified r3dopengl.cfg as instructed by adding two lines
* Chanched the resolution a couple of times, as well as the depth to 32bit and back to 16bit

Now I'm clueless... didn't help a thing! Would be glad for any help, thanks!

Just on a quick look, it could be also that your graphic card drivers are not updated.... but first post the specs anyway :D

I have the same problem. None of the fonts show up only as boxes instead of characters.
I have update my DriectX and my graphics drivers to no avail.

I have a P4 2GHz with 512 MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c -> all of the included tests completed succesfully btw
128 DDI ATI Radeon 9700

Any suggestions?
