Title: Sparc Linux
Post by: lycurgus on May 24, 2006, 08:03:39 pm
I currently have a sun ultra sparc 60 with Ubuntu. Is it possible to somehow get a linux build for sparc architecture? I'll build the sources and provide the compiled version if thats an option too.

I'm not certain that PS and all its dependancies will compile for the sparc arch (I don't know if any platform specific voodoo would be required). Can you confirm (either from experience or by building from the sources) if you can build a working PS?

I did some searches and found where I could get the sources cvs.

I'll attempt a compile later and post my results.

If you're lucky Induane's build guide might be of service, stickied at the top of this thread.
