Title: Installing on HP Integrity Itanium processor
Post by: wli34633 on May 30, 2006, 05:52:26 pm
I am trying to install the planeshift open source (both client and server) on an HP integrity box that I have. It is running redhat Linux on the Itanium 64 bit processor. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get both client and server to run (or just the server) before I spend time to do it?

Thanks.

You will probabily need to compile since you want the server too.  Look for a compiling guide to get started.  We're 64 bit clean so all should be fine.  PS is very portable.

Itanium is a whole new box of tricks compared to the amd64. I can't guarentee that it will even compile. You will definatly need to compile everything yourself, if you can.
