Title: Hello, stupid question here.

Whoever reads this might think its dumb, but umm.... How do you all get those cool pictures of your characters into your signature thing?  I think they all look really neat, and almost life like.  Do you design them yourselves?  Alright, I just thought I\'d ask.  Thanks.

Well most users take some cool pictures off the web, edit them, and merge them into one, using photoshop or similar program. Others use a drawing program to draw their own pics. Or a combination of the two.

I got my pics on a google search and added the text and effects and such with Paintshop and Animation Shop. I also have Flash, I am thinking of making a small little intro, you know with a little play button and everything.

No No No and No ! The signature pictures are not cool or neat, they\'re horrible. They increese loading time for low bandwith, modem and isdn users. They\'re mainly not well done and they make the forum hard to read. I hope the admins add the nice feature of removing the signatures. So that all you flashy bastards who like the evil images could see them and ruin a good forum, and the smart ones, like myself, could read the forums without 100s of poorly made crap.

I think that that is awefully rude of you to say.  You might not like the pictures for whatever reason, but you don\'t have to be so mean about it.  Wow, that\'s horrible.  You could say stuff like that in a nicer way.  Some of these people work hard on making these pictures and I believe they came out nice and I don\'t mind looking at them, and I myself would like to make something like that.  Sorry that you don\'t agree.

well if ya don\'t like em you just turn them of in your profile so you don\'t seen em anymore.

I have 56k and don\'t have (much) problems with loading time for these pages. (or i\'ve just gotten used to it)

Anyways, i\'m busy creating a new one. I\'m using milkshape3d and some other program for my new sig. That one will be totally my work (unlike the one i have now)

Culsoron, see the little Profile button at the top of your forum page?  That is there for a reason.

i.e. you can disable sigs anytime you want.

And you only have to load them once if you have a browser that was created some time in this century since they are cached.

Its not you, really, its my damn isdn connection that got me fired up, sorry.

 I didn\'t know of the profile thingy, and I removed it all now and Im happy. If anyone think of me as rude, so be it. I hate flashy signatures, I really do hate them. The loading time is hell and most are not nice. Some are very neat, and those who are created by the people in here themselves I could understand. But copy paste, add some text and filters in photoshop is not good at all. If you want signatures, do them properly, like that Princess did, nice one.  Please dont hate me now, Im sure you are all nice people, but most of your signatures are ugly as hell.

um...there is practically no loading times for me and I have a really really really bad 56k, so I don\'t see what you are talking about

As for sigs I thing they are all pretty good

And if you think people should have better sigs, shutup and create them for them if you want to see \"better \" ones, because some people are not good at these things...so instead of complaining do something about it(and telling people their sigs suck IS NOT doing anything other than making everyone mad at you)
