Heh... you cant organise that.. Make it run 1 day only please! Most people cant be online 4 days in a row
-
Its not 4 days in a row if you would read correctly. Its held on saturdays and sundays. Also I have given enouph time to allow people to let them selves be free on them weekends.

Also I have given enouph time to allow people to let them selves be free on them weekends.
Assuming you're in the right time-zone ;D
It's a nice idea, but it's going to be won by a power-leveler whose had the time to max out their sword, light armour, and all the physical stats, swinging two silverweave SSs.
/me shrugs, It'd be nice if I had the time to build my character up that much :-\
-
Well that would means there would at least be 9 power levelers in the tournement which I doubt there will be.
-
I'm not having a go at the idea, I'm all for in-game tournaments, and I'd have a go if I was going to be around for those two weekends.
The other problem I see (I'm not deliberately finding faults, don't take it personally) is... there is definitely an incentive if you're not feeling quite l33t enough to win the Heavy Class to throw the first round of fights and try and unbalance the Light Class. Is that kinda clear? It's better to win the LC than come 2nd in the HC. The prizes may need to be revised to make it worthwhile to try harder to get into the Heavy Class battles.
Though (and I'm working myself in a circle here), I suppose the glory is more important than the tria, as 30K is only a few hours hard yakka in the platinum mines.
Just my two tria. I'm honestly not criticising, I'm incredibly happy that people are taking the time and putting in the effort to organise these tourney's!
-
The tournement has been updated. Check above.
-
I'd suggest that the participants use swords provided by those who're organizing the tournament, like some other tournaments that happened. That way, we won't have insta-kills, and the battles would go on for slightly longer.
-
Yes of course, Swords will be provided.

hmmm July 1st is Canada Day and July 2nd is recovery day..so I'm out.
Living in the capital of Canada it is one hell of a party!!
Good Luck to all the participants.
Cheers
