if you would like to see chainmail on a dwarf go to akaiko and go to trasoks store hes wearings it. BTW when u go there see if u see a moving thing in the counter i do lol

That moving thing is an anvil and it is there for testing.

Heya!
Some of the chainmail textures for some races are already included in the current client.
The only thing that's missing is a trader that sells 'em!
Anyway, i am still hoping for armour-textures for Krans and the other 'naked' races :)

eh well untill chainarmor is actualy implemented you can do a bit of tweaking to get some eyecandy : go to PS folder and /art folder there , then unpack the characters.zip archive somewhere . Then go to the folder of the race you wish to alter and in some cases the chainaror textures are allready there .
simply delete or move the leatherarmor .png`s , for example fynwn_arm_leather.png for ynnwn females , and rename the chainarmor png`s to the name of the leather png`s previously moved or deleted , such as rename the fynwn_arm_chainmail.png to fynwn_arm_leather.png ...do that with all the races or bodyparts you want to alter , then unzip the whole thing again and put it back in the /art folder ....worked fine for me and i must say ynnwn female in chain armor looks awessome . This may allso be done for "naked" races such as kran , simply replace the default bodyparts of the race , like for example kran_torso.png with a png of chain or leather armor from another race . The results are interesting....though the armor models are not designed for the specific race they fit in a very interesting way....menkidukai for example look fine in ynnwn chain armor. Anyway if you plan on dooing this please MAKE A BACKUP COPY of the characters.zip ...just in case something goes wrong and your game crashes . This is moding the game on your own PC and won`t affect other clients or the way others see your character , as i said it`s just eyecandy
