Ive been triyin to register an account on planeshift at http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register I recieved an email to verify my account and this is what happens:
I click on the link in the account. A page to create a password comes up. I create a password and then click set password. It takes me to a white page that sayas "Your account has NOT been verified"
Could someone please tell me where I can verify my account??? Im very confused.... X-/

i see t's real cool game i realy wan't to try it but i have same problem :( i enter my new pasword and it says "Your account has NOT been verified" i donno what to do :'(

It seems a lot of people are having this problem lately - maybe something is really up with the registration...
Before we start panicking though, have you tried copying and pasting the validation link manually, instead of just clicking on it? Sometimes when you click on the link it only copies a part of the URL instead of the whole, so you end up with a broken validation code in the link.

Looks like we haven't had any new account registrations (that worked) for rather long now, looking at this:

I think for now we'll have to sit tight until the folks with the ability to look into registrations are around - it's likely that they are in bed at this time. If this won't improve by the morning, some poking will be done.

Hmm - what's the beginning of the validation URL?
I think it could maybe point to the old planeshift3d.org-address? Humm...

The character creation seems to be working flawlessly.
- Registered a new account at http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/ (http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/).
- Received an e-mail within 10 seconds.
- Clicked on the link.
- Ended up on a page where it asked me to enter my password twice.
- Started the game, entered the same e-mail address I used when creating the account and the password that I entered during the activation.
Everything worked as it should be.
Then I tried to find ways, how things could go wrong. Instead of the full link, I used only part of it, basically missing the end of the link with the verification ID number. Ended up on the same "Please choose a password to use with this account" page, but after entering the password, got the "Your Account Has NOT Been Validated!!" message.
So please make sure that the activation link is not wrapped over to the next line when clicking on it. The valid link has "&verificationid=xxx" at the end, where xxx is 32 characters long. If it is split into two lines in your e-mail, copy-paste them into your web browser's address line instead of clicking on the link in the e-mail. After that everything should work.
Now I have two extra accounts, one created to verify that everything works and another to see what happens if something goes wrong :)
