Title: [Guild] The Soulless
Post by: Alhana on June 19, 2006, 05:49:25 pm

The Guild/Order[/b]
The Soulless... they exist only by feeding from the negativity radiated by those within or around the Living Realm.
Cold and uncaring they emulate others emotions, feelings & responses as to not only appear normal but also to deceive & manipulate.  Much of their time is spent within the Under Realm/Death Realm.

(Note: There is a large RP story behind this guild, and as much as it appearnce my suggest to some we are not mindless or pointless with our exsistance.)

The guilds motto is "Lure the Lost, Infect the Pure, Corrupt the Lawful & Damn the Fallen".

History & Background[/b]
The history of The Soulless can be found on the guilds website.

Alignment[/b]
If The Soulless were to be categorised, it would be Neutral Evil.

Ranks[/b]
There are nine stages to becoming a soulless minion.
The souls condition is indicated by a mark, symbol, rune or glyph normally found somewhere upon the souls current body and is normally kept hidden.
Each stage has a different effect over the behaviour and abilities of the soul.

• Lured
• Tainted
• Infected
• Corrupted
• Damned
• Corrupter of Souls
• Devourer of Souls
• Soulless
• The Soulless One (Reserved for Alhana only)

Rules[/b]
The Soulless are a heavily based role-playing Guild/Order. All members are expected to maintain their roles when applicable.  More information on the rules is available upon request & consideration.

The Guild/Order is secret most of the time due to its nature and for role-play purposes only.

For more details visit The Soulless (http://www.soulless.byethost6.com) website.

I never left, I merely took a back seat and watched all which transpired ;D

Alhana looks about for the old alliance that once was...

Ha, the dark brotherhood has had some problems.  Deus ex Trucido basically got the boot from the Dark Empire because of Nurahk, while Talamir, to a lesser extent myself, and to a lesser extent Baal have projects in the works or in motion.

The alliance I was referring to consisted of key guilds/orders of a certain nature.  I have no intentions of reforming this or any other alliance after the last costly mistake which almost destroyed me and ruined others work in which a great deal of time and effort was spent.

Good to hear from you again Zanzibar.  I know this thread contradicts my PM... but hey... SURPRISE! ;D

You sang like a canary! :O

Anyway, nice guild. Never met you guys before, good luck.
I may drop by if me "plans in motion" as zanzzy put it, get screwed over (highly likely)

EDIT: My god the site is cool! ^^

What is there to sing?  That particular alliance is dead.  Besides, I didn't give it all away.

It was a joke :P As for singing, you can try that Barbera woman, the one who did the "I will survive!" bit.

Alhana has already identified those guilds/orders who might pose a threat to her as of yet unspoken aims.
Due to my last bad experience as mentioned above with alliences and such, I cannot foresee myself entering one in the near future... however saying this I knowledge that alliences can at times prove there worth.

Its time start drawing the line for those who are willing to persue their desires at any cost regardless of friend or foe.

I RP Alhana as she is drawn out in my mind, no care of others around her or under her 'rule' & no sense of humanity or 'self'.
There are few who are willing to accept a 'guild leader' such as this and hence why the soulless remain small.  I have always used this when I can to my advantage.

I feel that this message will only reach the mind & souls of but a few who would truly understand its meaning.

[EDIT: Will be in-game from 8pm GMT and onwards as of the 11/07/06.  Im always about in one form or another ]

Before I enter the eternal void and on to other worlds, I offer this for those who seek a little more in-depth advise for playing dark/evil characters or guilds alike.  I have compiled this little guide from my own experiences, I hope it provides some assistance.

Playing dark/evil characters cannot be taught and isn't for all.

Hi, I'm evil - Stereotypes

By acting as stereotype dark/evil (e.g. running around shouting foul language, threatening everyone you meet) you will only make yourself either a target, the laughing stock of the community or even both.
By remaining small and unimportant, you are more likely to remain unnoticed or ignored and thus underestimated.
Avoid the pitfall of monologging (believe me it does happen).
There will always be times when the urge comes to reveal your plans early in all its horrific glory, but by doing so you only destroy all your working on and alert intended targets.
Attention seekers make poor villains unless pushed to the extreme.

All great super-villains you see in the movies remain in the background and work through others to accomplish their goals, only intervening when necessary.  Follow in example and only then you learn to lead.

Plot, Plan, Prepare

Its usually seen as the most boring part to those who would rather rush into things.
This is fine for the lesser (or petty) villain who prefers action over preparation as they will only (if at all) see or ever be a small part of the canvas.  Such people are easily exploited and predictable which is why over planning can be just as dangerous.
Learn all you can about the many aspects of your plan/plot, look at every angle.

Never forget... "Knowledge is Power".

I echo these words...

Blind those around you with lies and deception.
Make yourself as a mirror, letting them hear & see what they want to believe.
Make use of playing on natural reactions and emotions.
Learn to use your own emotions to manipulate them in others.
Do what ever you can by any means to further your goals & aims without being foolish in your actions.
There are no such things as friends, only people with uses.

Alhana bows out.
