From the console program: ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin
Or:
sh PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin
-
didn't work :
ilrosso@ILROSSOlinux:~/Desktop> ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin
Segmentation fault
i've tried the bin file from a mirror after that and the result is
ilrosso@ILROSSOlinux:~/Desktop> ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b.bin
Installer payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupt downloaded file.
(p.s. sorry for posting in the wrong forum)
No problem. Moved. --DaveG

run md5sum on the file like so:
open a terminal or konsole
cd into the directory that contains the installer. if it is in your home directory you are already there.
type
md5sum PlaneShift_CBV0.3.014b
then paste the result back here to us

hello,
go to the folder where you have the Installer (bin or run file) and look at the perferences of the file and
make it executable (in german it is AUSFÜHRBAR).
That should do it.I had exactly the sam problem and im wondering why nobody could answer your question till now
bye
