I'd like to see how many players we have in each time zone, this would be nice so you roughly know when you got peak hours. (ok, the servers would know but that doesnt mean I know)

The reason I came to this question is also becouse I noticed there are a lot of GM's in GMT +1! maybe even one in Belgium, like me  \\o//

Ok, please post your time zone?  :)

I sure hope they wont talk dutch. I hate talking other languages (then the original) in international games.
Maybe we could even start some planeshift get-together events! In Belgium of course.

Idk if I'm allowed to say this but I'm from Brugge (West-Flanders) - maybe someone else lives close?

Nah, most people in PS talk english and I agree with you on the talking in other languages. It's one of the reasons why I prefer american servers over european ones on certain games. In the american server I can understand everyone because they speak english, in the european ones everyone uses their own language and I only understand half of them.

I'm from near Hasselt, Limburg myself .. not that close but at least it's the same country. As for meetings, if we include our northern dutchspeaking neighhbours we'd have plenty of people for those actually ... ::)

I think the future of this game will be verry nice.. as long as the language, RP factor and support stays the same.

For me it's GMT +1 (CET, or Central European Time) here in Germany -or GMT +2 (CEST/ Central European Summer Time), depending on the season.

I'm sure a good amount will be from germany (at least most of the "Woiperdinger" members); but according to the usual development of "players currently online" over the day, the majority still seems to live in america, the early morning in Europe is usually the time with the lowest amount of people online.

I live in florida so I guess that is GMT - 05:00, currently its actaully GMT -04:00. Guess its that whole winter and summer thing.  ::|  :P ... Flower any one?  :flowers:

Just one though: I think the information about summer time shouldn't be taken into account, since we all have this change and we doesn't share the same summers. And I've noticed I'm not the only one here living in the south hemisphere... In my oppinion, we should stick with regular (winter) time. It's just a suggestion.

I haven't played yet, but I'm GMT -5 Florida, does everyone have daylight savings time, I know a few states in the U.S. don't do it?

You can just google it with the words "Portugal" and "time zone" lol

anyway, the time zone portugal is in is [GMT +1] like most of Europe except the country where Greenwi(t)ch is (GMT = greenwich mean time).

Portugal is in GMT, it's just in summer time right now, like a lot of other countries, so it's easy to get an information that right now Portugal is in GMT +1. Someone from Portugal, correct me if I'm wrong on this.

But you know, there IS a logic operating in the timezone system. Unless Portugal is an exception (wich is truly possible, since a lot of other countries are), it would make no sense in it being GMT+1, because this would mean Portugal is eastern then England. That's basic geography.
