you're not even supposed to know they exist unless you're told in game or see them there.

It didn't give away specific locations, it just told the areas where you could find these type's of NPC's. Oh well, picky picky, guess that is what happens when people don't have the game to play. They focus their attention on these small, minor issues.

Think of it this way:

your char has been in Yliakum from birth, i think in 20 :@#\ years you would know about rats, 2-eyed rats, trepors, Ulbernauts, etc..
