Crash 00403467 happens when you enter a new area with pre-existing dead bodies. Lovely, huh? :P
It's already fixed in CVS and will be made available once the update servers are setup. Until then, just give it a few trys and avoid high mortality rate areas like the arena.

I think we need another teleport request thread, as this is a very common problem yet again.
Please post your character name here if you are crashing and need to be moved. Do this only if you see no GMs in-game with another character or in IRC. This should be your very last resort, and your character will be reset as soon as a GM sees your request. Immediate "taxi service" is not guaranteed, and you may be able to log in again after several tries - once those dead bodies have expired.
If you find this issue resolved for you after you post here, please edit your post to mention this. Otherwise a GM may teleport you needlessly.

I think I might need to be moved, as I crashed upon entering what I believe is the Bronze Doors region (I've never been there before so I'm not sure!) and now crash on the loading screen right after "loading world" shows up.
However, I'm not sure this has to do with this particular bug... there is a topic on the Mac board about other people with the Mac version crashing, and it doesn't say anything about 00403467.

The Bronze Doors area seems to be inaccessible to mac users at the moment, so if you have a mac, I'd suggest to unfortunately avoid this region for now. I presume you were using "Siteri," so position for her has been reset.

Siteri Kidachi: Um... Don't ask "will this work". Try it yourself and then tell us if it does.
The Bronze Doors crash has been tracked down. (it affects all OSes but not always as much) It's related to the fancy effect on the waterwheel in the back. It's purely inside CS, so we've got to hunt down Jorrit or someone to help us. Not sure when we'll get it fixed.

cant get on for this one now 00403467 and there aint a body in sight alive or dead LOL......guess its a small price to pay for something that is already great and going to be utterly fantastic \\o// I say well done to averyone who makes it possible

I am also stuck in the arena. I tried to "crawl" out between crashes, but that was taking forever... 'login move 10 steps--crash, wait 30 seconds.. login move 10 steps crash...ect ect.' :surrender:

both of my characters seem to be stuck. Svala Malfini is stuck in the arena, and Kashri Kuthulu is stuck in the death realm. it crashes almost immediatly when i load either of these charcters

The fix didn't work. Siteri needs another move. I guess I'll have to wait for the updater to be able to go to the Bronze Doors.

You also need to be renamed (http://www.planeshift.it/naming.html). "Omnivor" has been moved to a safer location, but once you are in-game please send a /petition to GMs with a suggestion for a more appropriate medieval fantasy name for your character.

Hi, i need a teleport i think. I heard tell of another city and went looking for it only to crash out when changing zones. I think this is the bronze door problem. i am running the OSX binary on 10.3.9.

Okay, I just ran the Planeshift Updater, and it seemed to work. My system updated, and now the 00403467 error has gotten worse. Before I was able to log on for a few seconds, now I crash the moment it finishes loading. What gives?

You were not supposed to run the updater. We have a stickied thread in the "Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game" forum section, and you will have to reinstall the game.

I've been crashing with the 00403467 bug at the top of the stairs in one of the levels of Arena. Sometimes in the past I've been able to recover on the relaunch and "Backout" by executing walking backwards as soon as I log on, but haven't been able to get out of it this time. I'd appreciate a rescue/teleport.

My name in game world is Willelmo.
I was loitering in tavern when all of sudden I was some odd castle like place facing huge monster, I saw hallway behind me and escaped there, then I found odd place where was red light coming trhu floor and there was npc character which explaned that I'm in arena. Why I suddenly was there I have no idea, but as I started to look my way out from there I got this very same error, it has happened few times before but then 3rd restart has helped which seem not to be case this time.
I would like to get back to tavern again so could some nice master move my character? Thank you :)
Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but everything in planeshift folder is read only, seem not to change situation even if I make them writabe (Windows client), I just know that readonly files can make odd things happen sometimes.
