http://laanx.fragnetics.com/main.php

Well, there are 75 players in there now - and only 0.3.015 would let them get in there and play PS now

Server is up and running. Make sure that you installed the correct version (0.3.015) and that you didn't run the updater.

The server is up, but it does crash quite a bit.  Make sure you have the .15 client and you should be good.  The server should be more stable shortly once the devs (and yes, WTB members as well) get more of the kinks worked out of it.  Welcome to PS.

Is there not a updater to patch it? :S

I realize this game is free.. but if you have to re-download the game everytime theres an update it will get a bit ridiculous. No offense intended.

The updater that will patch it won't be ready for a little bit, not until most of these preliminary bugs are ironed out.  You can wait some more for that, or you can redownload the .015 client.

Ok thanks forthe reply :), How good is this game? I played wow and got no satisfaction from it jsut because its auto leveling.. which i find retarded. Is this game a bit more customizable?

is the server info still

Name: laanx.fragnetics.com
IP Address: 203.81.47.91

because when i ping laanx.fragnetics.com i get

64 bytes from 210.193.49.103: icmp_seq=2 ttl=47 time=252.504 ms

and when i try to log in it tells me that there is no server available even though the stats page says there are currently over 100 people online.

i am using the 0.3.15 mac OSX client on OS 10.3.9 and everything seems to be working with it until i actually try to log in. Is there any way to check what ip address the client is looking for in order to do a manual ping/traceroute? Is it still 203.81.47.91?

i had a chance to play the .14b client briefly before the servers went down so i know the game did work on this computer, but i never tried it from this location so it is possible that the router here is somehow blocking that ip or port number. That is why i want to make sure i have the right ip before i go messing with the router settings.

Thanks

You already checked the IP address with your ping. It is currently 210.193.49.103.

Even though the servers.xml syntax says it wants an IP, just give it laanx.frangetics.com.  There's no need to futz with IPs in most instances.
