Hi
This is a thread for people with the mac client to post any progress on trying to get into the bronze door region.
so far all i've done is crash.
I've used -fullbright and haven't been able to load client from within region.
Below is something that was spat out in the console when i crashed:
<src/common/paws/pawswidget.cpp:819> SetBackground:
Widget: LoadWindow (Parent: None) Could Not load image: Loading BronzeDoors

<src/common/psbehave/psworld.cpp:252> ExecuteFlaggedRegions:

I will be continuing to find either a in-game or option based fix

All i did was change some settings, and now it is working. I accidentily put on load all maps and keep them loading. Once I turned them off, they worked.
worth trying...
-
This option is not enabled for me so thanks but it's not the good trick ;)
-
You may need to just redownload the entire torrent. Have fun! ;)
-
Before I do that Anor, is it working for you?
-
Yes it is.
-
The problem with loading bronzedoors is that some particle system plugins are not shipped. This will have to wait until the updater is available.
-
OK dfryer, thanks a lot for the information. We'll wait for the updater
-
thanks dfryer! is it possible to disable these plugins? and will you post somewhrere here when the update is available?
Thanks again!
three cheers for teh dev team ^^
-
Okay, do not kill me if this is common knowledge, but I think its worth a mentioning.
Since this is in the Mac forum and a search didn't showed up the same problem on other OSs for me I thought I should say, that I also have this problem running PS on linux.
If this is known, or just not OS related, please feel free to ignore me :flowers:
-
I think your right - not sure what a search turns up but i'm pretty sure the linux users also have the same problem...
-
Hooray and three cheers for the mac crew (dfryer etc.)
The mac fix is out just run the standard mac updater

Yay for the devs !
[EDIT] It works like a charm
