Title: Can't do damage?

When I first downloaded Planeshift and logged on I could do damage to the rats in the sewer. I got off and back on and failed to do any damage. I had that problem yesterday, all day, but when I got on this morning I killed a rat, but had to get off. Now, logging back in, I can't hurt them anymore. I have run into some others wiht the same problem. Is this a bug or something I am doing wrong?

There are a few peole experiencing this problem, please post your machine specs, and also please search before posting. The Devs are working on fixing the problems as they come along, so stay tuned, and maybe do a little exploration while your at it, make friends, and just have fun.

Don't double-post please; people will reply when they can.

Combat is suffering from a few technical issues at the moment, and doing damage is rather unstable. I'm not sure that posting system specs will help in this case, so just hang tight for the fixes.

one other thing(i made this mistake this morning during custom character creation), make sure you have ranks in melee, if you dont then you wont be able to do any damage, you can always ask around, nicely an politely to see if anyone has a short sword or such that they would be willing to give you
