i was thinking about the petrosaurs, and then i had a rather disturbing thought.
will the petrosaurs be, user controllable or will it be done through cut scenes. cause flying from map to map may prove difficult.
-
Weren't the petrosaurs removed from the plan?
-
*shrugs*
first i've heard of that.

User-controllable is much more interesting. But it's also really difficult :>

mhm ...*imagines flying creatures waay above his head as he wanders the plains*

Well I figure that it all stands and falls with the factor speed, if Pterosaurs and Megaras get to fast there certainly will be problems.
An approach that came to my mind was that you could have an "Air Map", spanning over wider regions with lower ground detail, however this would seperate air from ground, making "flight shows" or simple "scouting ahead" impossible. If you ever played Seiken Densetsu 3 (To the point where you get the flamie drum) you will know what I mean with Air Maps

Haven't the developers stated that the world will be seamless in the future? ;)

We've stated a lot of things for the "future"... Doesn't mean you'll see things like this anytime soon. ;)
