Title: HELP - The Server isnt Ready

Hi,
i have Linux and have Updated the Game. But when i Start the Client, the Said, that the Server isn't Ready. (The Connection Failed)

Exactly.

I made this mistake, too, and had to reinstall the game.

But since the server restarted some minutes ago, something seems to be wrong anyway.

btw:

You're in the wrong section.
There is another sticky thread saying that you're not to post Linux issues into here ... ;-)

Ok. Then i must de-installed the game, and install it again?

ok, I try running the updater right now, is fetching about 48 Megs of data.

Maybe you could try the updater again.
No clue what's the up-to date info.

If you have/want to uninstall PS, in the planeshift folder you can find an uninstall script.

Simply type ./uninstall within the folder

Good, now i have uninstalled the Game and install it new.
But when i start the Client he said, that the Server isnt ready. :(

Is that at your Computer to?

Nope, PS still complains about a version mismatch.

The updater can't update

data/gui/control.xml
data/gui/control_styles.xml
data/zoneinfo.xml

because of wrong MD5 checksums.

That's enough for today.

The Mistake is everwhere?
Nobody can play PS?

yeah..im watchin, too...maybe admins or devs trying to fix everything up....but you can definitly see, its closed for the public..so wait or come back tomorrow/later
