Every time I run the game it freezes less than a minute after loading. The whole system freezes and I can't do anything except hit the restart button on my computer. Right now I'm in the death realm, but it was freezing before I was there, so it's not just a problem with the death realm. Please help me.

Minimum Requirements:
* Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux, FreeBSD or Solaris
* GeForce 2 or higher 3D graphics card
* 1 Ghz CPU
* 512 MB RAM
* 1 GB free disk space
* 56k modem Internet connection
Does your computer meet this?
Please, try to provide as much info as you can on your reports, so someone can guess how to improve your gameplay experience.

Sorry, I'll make sure to include more information next time. I have Windows XP, a 1.29 Ghz CPU, 512 MB RAM, plenty of free disk space, and cable internet. My graphics card is a Radeon 9600 series. I think that should be good enough because I can play other games with it, but I'm not sure.

ps shouldn't lock up the comp like that...
anything else running in the background?
have you updated the graphics drivers?
-
I shut down most of the stuff in the background, and I have updated the driver, but not in a while. I guess I'll do that quick and see if that helps.
*edit*
I updated the driver, but the game still froze when I tried it.
*edit*
I just reinstalled the game and downloaded the patch. Now when I run the updater, it says that the updater version is newer than the server's and then it stops. I ran the game anyway, but it still froze...

Hi.
Try to monitor the taskbar while you're allowed to be running the game, and explore if the ram usage goes increasing unstoppably or if cpu usage is 100% always... to try to discover why it ends freezing.
To relax a bit cpu usage, when you go ingame, use "o" shortcut to open the options menu, then go to graphics-details-fps cap and lower the default value 62, to 30. See if that makes less use of cpu.
