Title: Wrong Server?

I just downloaded the game and I'm all registered but when I go to log in it says I have the wrong type of planeshift to play that server, but there are no other server choices what do I do.

pls i tried to login to planeshift but it said im using the rong version of planeshift to use this server i dont get it i have .3.015 what should i do

Hi. I am also having the same problem. Have downloaded the patch and when I unzip to the folder where the game is it keeps asking me to put a code in. What code? Can u help. Thanks.

A code? Could it be a password-prompt? In that case, try extracting the files to another drive - if you are trying to put them in C:\, try D:\ or F:\ if you have them, and then once the files are extracted just move them into your PS directory.

That was quick thanks. If I am able to extract them to another drive can I then just copy and paste then to the correct folder. I presume if that is the case they will overwrite the old files.

After they have been extracted safely to another drive, cut-and-paste into your main PlaneShift folder. You will most likely get a prompt to overwrite, and be sure to click on Yes :)

Thanks I had already done that sucessfully. Now it does not reconise my account when I try to log in.

Make sure that you have registered for a game account (http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/) and are not using the forum account you created. Make sure that you are spelling everything correctly, that the username and password boxes have no hidden characters, and that you successfully validated your account.

Thankyou am in. So bloody tired now as have been trying to get this game going for ages that i will now have to play tomorrow - lol. Thanks again.

i unzipped the patch in the planeshift file and can now update but i stil cant log into planeshift it says i have the rong version but i am using 3.015

0.3.015b? is the CURRENT version, which is the version you need.

i still cant get into planeshift with the path so daveg u say i need .3.015b to play and not just .3.015 so how do i get .3.015 i started to download it then i got disconnected and lost the link

Once you've installed .15 release successfully, you've to decompress this zip file:
http://66.111.255.12/~psmirror/015patch.zip

in your planeshift directory, and overwrite all files, when asked to do so.

Then you just need to run the updater, and you're done to play the game :)

when i tried to install the game tho i get a couple of files that wont install so i had to ignore is this normal or should i download another version

Reboot, uninstall the old version, then install.  (or at least delete your ps dir and kill any stalled processes)

ok i have the game installed without any probs but i cant get on it says rong version still even tho i have extracetd the patch it still has a zipper on the patch even though it went thro the extract process so im not sure if it worked or not but when i went to update it said updater updating to another build then when it finished it said couldnt coppy files  *file name*   cannot acces the file because it is being use by another process >:( >:( >:(

reboot and try the updater again. and try it in recover mode, there should be a short cut in the start menu for it.

When you extract the patch files, make sure you get an overwrite prompt and that you click on yes.
