Title: Problem outside of citys....

when ever i get outside of a city after leaving the city zone all my icons get blurry and i cant read anything....or do anything any one have a salution to this problem?

Sounds like a graphical issue to me.
Could you post a screenshot (host it in imageshack for instance and give us a link) of what happens when you leave cities? (Use /screenshot command ingame to make the screenshot)
Also, what are your system specifications, specially graphics card? Are you running on updated drivers for your system?

no i lost the game i had to uninstall untill i can get my own comp at christmas....o well i prolly wont have prob then can some one lock this thread...

I have the same issue !!

This is a real problem because you can't talk (you could try blind typing, but can't read the answer !), or even equip yourself (the invntory windows is useless)

I can post a screenshot no problem but... as soon as I'm back to home :)

Hi again,

Here is a screen shot about the issue.

It happen we I went outside a city, at the first loading of the outside area (no problem inside the cities)

Yeh I've been having a similar problem, only not quite to this effect. I suggest following what Santiago asked me to do here:

and post up the text you get from the console window thing. Then! You can join me in waiting for a solution, lol.

well i have exactlly same problem ;/
my guess is that reason is in how planeshift uses graphic drivers - with current version of mine on ra9600 pro i had similiar problem in Homeworld 2.

I hope there will be fix for this soon..... :(


i went on a journey, and i have found very strange place.
here you have a camera position where everything is fine

i think i  know how much ram do you have you need atleast 512 ram for the game i  think

Now that is strange. Try updating your graphics drivers to the newest versions. If this dosent work, Search around this forum in the technical support section, see if you can find anything that may help you.

i'd try and delete camera.xml and run the game again... when it's updated ;) could be a camera problem but don't go and delete camera_def.xml or try getting the latest drivers for your card if you havn't
