OKAY I JSUT DOWNLOADED IT AND IVE READ ALL THE PREVIOUS POSTS NUTHINS WORKIN THE PATCH THING THE NERO GUYS LINK...NUTHIN....I DID THE PATCH THINGY RIGHT BUT ONCE I GET TO THA GAME IT SAYS THAT THE GAME VERSION CANNOT ACCESS THE SERVER OR SUMN LIKE THAT AND WHEN I USE UPDATER ALL THAT IT DOES IS SAY STOPPED
Translation:
Okay I just downloaded it and I've read all the previous posts. Nothing is working, the patch thing, the nero guy's link... nothing. I did the patch thingy right but once I get to the game it says that the game version cannot access the server, or something like that. And when I use the updater, all that it does is say 'stopped'.

If you keep posting in all caps, no one is going to pay attention. It is considered very rude online, so please don't do this - it's like you're shouting all the time. Your email address has also been edited out - anyone can find it and just spam you to hell if they want. Be safe and leave your email out.
When you extracted the files from the .zip into your main PS folder, did you make sure that you overwrote successfully? Nothing was in use, and you didn't skip any files?

oops im sorry lol i did all of that stuff right and it said overrite i clicked yes to all and then i ran the updater it still stopped it sadi somethign liek its ahead of the server and then i luanched anyways and i logged in and everything when i pressed okay it said server not availble for client or sumn like that

Then it's a completely different problem now. Are you using a firewall or router, by any chance? You have to make sure that you have UDP port 7777 available for the Laanx server. If you're not sure how to work with ports, you're going to have to use Google to find instructions for the firewall software or router model that you have.

can i jsut type in that port name and is it safe to tell u whichone its displaying right now?

What little circle? I'm not psychic, I have no way of knowing what you are seeing :} If you have a firewall or router, you will need to find documentation specific to that software/model on how to work with ports. There are too many variations for me to give you general directions.

no cuz i mean on tha updater it has options ya know what im talkin bout? and i jsut ran it with host myproxy and port 7777 it said mir 1 connecting to mirror 2 mirror lacks a version file connecting to backup mirror mirror lacks a version file ran out of mirrors game cannot be updated

and if i uncheck the option to use http or whatever and i run the updater jsut normal by clkin update it says my updater is ahead of the servers

Trill, please don't double-post. These forums have a Modify button that you should use if you have more information to add to a post, and no one has replied yet.
The port needs to be changed through your firewall or router. Not through PlaneShift. PS doesn't have the capability.

is the port or router what my internet connects too i have no clue what either of them are im sorry and im new to this sorry if broke any rules aight
udp or tcp and do i put number 7777 im making the port an exception and what to name it

You need to allow UDP 7777 to pass through for the game to work. If you have a HTTP proxy, you can enter those settings into the updater options to allow that to work. Those are 2 seperate things.
First off, a sanity check. When you run the game, what version does it say up top? If it doesn't say 0.3.015b then you've not actually installed and patched it right.

okay good mornin i ket askin udp or tcp andi put tcp lol but i have updater 1.1.1.1 and tech demo 0.3.015 theres no b in it
