So I went to make a new acount, it said that the email was being used, should I just get a new email for that? Please help!

/me sighs and gets out her standard using-your-email-address-as-your-nickname speech.

Posting your email address publically is an incredibly bad idea. Everyone can read it and spam you to hell, if they want. This includes net spiders, which are automated programs that infest every corner of cyberspace, just waiting for some person to give them his email. They'll forward it to every spam company they know, who will send it to every single one of their affiliates, untill your inbox is so full of junk it'll be utterly unusuable. Please register a new forum username that does not give out any personal details.

If you are spelling everything correctly and you are absolutely sure (no hidden characters in the password field, no overlooked typos in your email) you might as well just register for a new account using another email address. They are very easy to sign up for these days. If you get this problem again, then it'll be a bit more serious and we'll try further 'investigations', so to speak :}
