i usualy get this problem on a bad install of the OS...im not telling you to just go ahead and reformat but when i have hardware troubles, or plugin problems , i normaly do have to format the drive again myself because for me it generally means more then just 1 thing is missing from the drive also i had alot of problems with 6.06 myself, try going to an older version. if all else fails try a format and depending on how new to linux you are send me a msg and ill tell you what option to use to format if you dont already know

Hello,
I have to run kernel 2.6.....23 so that the nvidia driver is loaded.
There is a thread about the igraphics driver somewhere on this forum.
If i recall correctly thre is an issue with this driver/chipset.

I compiled a release on ubuntu only. I don't know if it will make any difference at all or not, but try my basic installer - note - it installs planeshift to your home directory in a planeshift directory. Open the directory and run psclient pssetup or updater and NOT psclient_static, etc...
