Title: Torrent Problem

when i click on the downloaded torrent file (PlaneShift_CBV0.3.015b.bin) stuff-it pops up and gives me this message that says the file isnt compressed or it runs for a little bit then quits with the unexpected quit error. what am i doing wrong

The file is a .bin.torrent file. You need to open it with a torrent application, for example, Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php). Make sure you get a version that will run on your OS. If you have 10.4.x, any version is fine. If you have 10.3.x, pick one of the older ones. If you have 10.2.x, Planeshift won't run for you... so it doesn't matter. After getting the file, make sure to update with the built-in updater or the Java updater linked in the Guide (sticky at the top of this forum).

Note: the instructions on the web page do instruct you to get a bit torrent client. Anyway, I'm going to lock this, since it has been addressed before (here and on the web page, as I mentioned). If you have further trouble, please send me a PM. iLock.
