You probably noticed that Tefusang have the tendency to attack you with their tails at the moment, also Yulbars appear backwards, although you wouldn't notice as they don't move. For this annoyance I have made a small fix. Just download the file below and replace your /planeshift/art/npcs.zip file with it, that will make all appear right.
Thanks go to me and Uyaem for testing with me on Laanx.
Have fun!

Thanks Joit!

Many thanks, now downloading. One of my chars has a Yulber familiar and was astonished when it followed backwards. Hope that it will walk forwards for me sometime.

What, is it missing a hard transform or something?
Edited to add:
Yep. Ok, I flipped them in cal3d files on our SVN. Will be in next update.
-
Great, but I don't understand you didn't hear about that missing hard transform before.
I told Talad about it one day after the .15 release.
-
Thanks for this, Thom.

Let's take a look at Talad's account on BugTracker, shall we...
57 open, 52 fixed, 35 other (dupes, not bugs, etc)
He's bombarded with so many insignifigant things (like a pilar being slightly off center) that it takes quite a while to get to them. For important things like this, it's best to either pester him on IRC and/or get another less busy dev to fix it. (especially if you already have the fix)
-
And where do you think I pestered him with this
Yes, on IRC.
And Talad was the one who told me the hardtransform was probably the problem.
So he knew about the bug, and knew about the fix, a month before I made mine.
I know Talad is a busy man, and I couldn't get hold of a dev who could fix this on IRC, so I made my fix available.
Period.
-
And a thank you!
If you don't see anything from Talad and you can make a fix yourself, definitely prod someone who is around more and they will make sure your work is made available with updates.
-
Yup, problem was there wasn't someone how is more around and can make sure my work was made available with the updates ;)
I could've emailed some people, but I'm not an e-maily person, I rather talk directly to make sure what I have to say isn't ignored or deleted, as often happens with emails.
-
The only reason I origionally got access to the art SVN was so I could edit the cal3d files if I needed to, so if anyone makes fixes for them poke/PM/email me and I'll test and put them in. (I just did again today (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=24942))
-
Okay, whenever changes to the cal3d files are necessary, I will come and poke you with a huge stick ;)
