Title: PS Compiling guide - need help

Ok I was trying to recently build a private server for planeshift. It seems though that i cannot reach the host for which the source code is located. I'm following the directions at: http://laanx.fragnetics.com/index.php?page=build_visual. When I complete the CVS check out module page and press ok, I get the error:
"pserver protocol library is missing entry pointcvs [checkout aborted]: the :pserver: access method is not available on this system"
my CVS check out looks edzactly like the one on the page but i get the above error. I also tried using WINCVS which gives me a host unreachable error.
Can anyone help?

Build guides on Laanx are as obsolete as possible. Use the new build guide (http://planeshift.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/planeshift/planeshift/docs/compiling.html).
