Title: Darkness

When I leave the cities in some places it is so dark I can't see the ground and there are black shadowss everywhere.
My friend and I thought perhaps it's because I never configured my settings. So I open PS Settings but I can't find out how to change the graphics.

This si what it lookslike when I go a little ways down the path away from Oja (I think it's called Oja the place where the cats and the rock guys start in):

I sometimes see that through a sector-cross, but once I'm in it changes to normal. If that fails however, you always have the option of running the game with -fullbright. It eliminates lighting so you get no shadows, but also no night&day changes. To use that option, right-click on your PlaneShift shortcut, and then:

Thank you it seems to have worked :)

But now I have another question:
Your game is "Planeshift" but mine says "Planeshift -Tech Demo" do I not have the most recent version of Planeshift?

"PlaneShift" is just the name of my shortcut :> I renamed it.
