Title: Desk Lamps

Today I was walking down the street when I came upon a desk lamp in the road. I pick up this desk lamp and suddenly 10 cop cars pull up and they arrest me. Turns out the police are setting up these Desk Lamp theft sting operations all over the US and in Parts of Mexico and Canada, so I urge anyone not to steal desk lamps these days. If you REALLY want to steal them then watch your back.

In my fairly limited experience desk lamps can get too hot anyway. I don\'t think I would be tempted too easily - unless it was a particularly splendid lamp.

A desk lamp in the middle of the road creates a hazard for cars so just say to the police I was moving it off the road so cars would not hit it and cause a crash.

As long as people don\'t care about each other, there will be no world-peace, because noone is willing to share their part of the cookie.
I don\'t care what people belive in, but as long as people love money more than they love their own people there will be no world peace. :(

Comunism is stupid, take our little ps group for example, Kada would do all the work while say kiern, or cyo would just let kada do all the work, then mooch and be just as well off.

which is why money should never have been invented...Think about it. The world would be much better off if someone could think of an alternative for money. money sucks because you need alor of it to buy stuff. money rules because you can get cool stuff with it...

I guess you would need a big club (probably with spikes) to convince bush of that.

Ow you shouldnt forget the propaganda that a terrorist will give you small pox when you dont look (although the only 2 places where the virus still exists are high security labs in russia and the US) - so you either agree to war against terrorism or you should better get a pox vaccine as fast as you can (you never know if a terrorist is already hiding under your bed).

But then the smart people couldn\'t escape communism, and their new inventions would just be stolen by the government and shared equally. The smart people would revolt, while the lazy ones would eat the food, drink the booze, and smoke the cigars that the more productive people made.

Plus the reason that comunism didn\'t work out in russia is because it was an argicultural country(Marx wrote that a country, with britain and germany in mind, would have to go through industrialism to trouly become a communist nation).
So because of corruption and greed, communism will never work the way it\'s supposed to.
As for world peace, as long as 80% of the world population cares so much about personal wealth that they are blind to what politicians are doing, we will never have world peace.
Plus, I think that this planet is doomed, we\'re bound to blow our selves up soon. But since I have no way out of it I might as well have fun with what I\'ve got :)

Make it roughly 20% who care for personal wealth. All others either are already in opposition, don\'t care or have better things to do (ie stay alive for another day).

That\'s true, but the problem is that that 20% has the most of the world\'s wealth.
