Title: I hate this game because it took my sword away!

Post by: sesmi on August 05, 2006, 11:20:25 pm: I bought a new sword for 10k and I draged it to the equipment spot but it didn't equip and i sold it wtih all my old swords i don't need. then everyone made fun of me. this game blows i'm uninstalling it.

Post by: miadon on August 05, 2006, 11:23:50 pm: well first of all ITS NOT A GAME YET! When you installed it, it told you it was a tech-demo, pre-alpha game, which means there will be Bugs, Glitches, melting of your HD, crash your system, wipeing of chars.

Post by: stfrn on August 05, 2006, 11:30:13 pm: Everyone makes mistakes. yup, we could use some way to "buyback" items you don't mean to sell, but that's yet another feature for us to plan, program, test, find 100 bugs with, remove, try again, crash the server 5 times, cause devs to lose sleep/hair/weight and fianlly work more or less how people wnat it. And then people will destroy items by mistake X-/

sesmi you said you sold your sword with your other items, but really didn't you just accidentally click and sell the wrong weapon? Really, don't call it a glitch when it's just you not paying attention. If anything, it's a glitch in your brain.

Most likely, you couldn't equip the sword because you didn't meet some stat criteria, maybe not enough strength. You then somehow didn't notice this, and just sold every sword you had. Yes it's annoying, but it was your own fault. Please, calm down and don't post complaints like these here.
