The mirror worked very well but now everytime i try to play it says that i dont have the right version and i need to launch the updater (which i did like 5 times). What should i do? ???

Refer back to your last thread. Karyuu reminded you to read the Installion Instructions thread (second sticky). You need to now download the patch.
Just a tip. Before posting a new thread, do either a little search, or at least check the stickies/top threads. :)

When you first download a game, you're very eager to immediately jump in and see what the world is like (http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/2497/usedusedusedcx3.gif) But to make sure that everything goes smoothly and you're not missing some important step, be sure to read help tips thoroughly, and remember what they advise. That way you speed up the process of jumping into the world.

alright ill look for that patch

ok its still saying the same thing. ill tell you what i did. i uninstalled planeshift, then i installed it again using a mirror, then i used the link to download the patch, then i check for updates. did i do anything wrong?

Not to call you call you dumb or anything, but I hate to assume things, as assuming things can and normally does create problems, but after you downloaded the patch, you extracted it to the proper folder as the sticky directed you to do, right?

Never mind i get it now, the only question i have now is what is the proper folder?

It will be the main install directory (folder) where you installed the game.
Using defualts, it would be c:\program files\planeshift crystal blue\
And on a general note, there is a modify button in the top right corner of any post you make, to avoid doubleposting, in this case meaning, posting right after you posted without having a response inbetween. Doubleposting is looked down upon, and it is preferred that the modify button is used. :)
