Hi!
Great game,
i have a issue with the labels, all i see is a grey box where the names & guild should be, and to find out who they are i have to mark ppl.
se example here: http://internut.no-ip.org/pic/misc/screenshot2.png
im using Ati radeon 9800 pro (dual head)
amd 64 3500+
1 gb mem
Linux version 2.6.15-26-amd64-generic
Ati drivers version : 8.27.10
i tried diffrent settings in PS setup, but no change.
any sugestions?
Thanks

There are lots of issues with the label painting. You could try typing /redraw labels but I just turn them off anyways now. You're not alone.

I'm using an integrated video card and I do not have these issues... So must be an ATI problem

I have an integrated ATI and works fine.
I know its been said many times many ways.... update your drivers :)
-
I disagree. ATI's latest drivers are known absolutely to break several entire lines of cards... read the release notes and educate yourself before trying to upgrade it.
-
Normally yes, but Ati's last two drivers have been \\o// by fixing some long standing bugs and addings support for X.org 7 and 7.1!
-
The last two drivers also completely broke all support for the XPRESS 200M series, and all other chips based onthe X300 chipset.
-
All i can suggest is a driver rollback to 8.252
I couldnt use the latest because of an install issue, but this driver has worked very well for me.

You could try typing /redraw labels
I thought it was /repaintlabels or do both commands work?

@ Induane: It's not a secret Ati cares more about uses of "real" videocards than about integrated ones. Your best bet for linux videocards of course is Nvidia.
@ Zorbels: It's /repaintlabels, the other one doesn't exist. If that doesn't work, you can also use "/repaintlabels force", which doesn't just repaint the labels, but completely recreates them.
