Title: server is out of date

when i try to play PS, it tells me that i need to run the updater. when i run the updater it says that the server is out of date. i have the patch, and i've rebooted 4 times, and nothing works. please help me.

oh, i read the installation instructions it doesn't help, myabe i'm missing something.

You probably forgot the patch, only thing I can think of.

i'm now having same problem here, game sais i have wrong version and need to use updater, but if i start updater it sais server isn't right version...   :-\

Please follow our Install Instructions (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=24432.0) sticky at this point. You have to download a separate patch and unzip the files into your main PlaneShift directory (by default unless you changed it during the install, it should be C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue). After that, run the game updater.

how do i unzip without buying a program?

Windows XP itself can unzip .zip files.  WinZip, for the most part, is free. WinRAR is free. There are many others that are free that will open .zip files.  A simple google search will turn them up.

hey! it worked!  ;D thanks a lot
last time i tried i couldn't find the patch on the website, while it was right before me all the time :p
