Server admin said reeboot in one min. After that the server has not been on since. Is it me? How can i check if it is not my system?
-
It's up and down a lot now.
-
do u think that there is anything we can do from our end to help prevent the crashes?
-
Yeah. Stop dropping items on the ground, and pick up whatever you see.
-
Mirashi: news to me :}
If they are server related, no you can't do anything on your end if you're not repeatedly crashing it on purpose. (You'll know if you are.) Sit tight and ride them out

Well I think I remember seeing someone post (Xordan or Bereror, I forget) that stacked items on the ground overloaded the server or something.
-
the item things could be true or just a way of getting people to pick up garbage...
one GM did tell me that doing thing that caused my client to crash may cause the server to crash too, example:
when i tried to train str. at one of the trainers my client always crashed the first time, then it would work only after i restart,
I never knew that some of the bugs that causes my client to crash may sometimes cause the server to go down too.

Dropped items on the floor are known for the heavy lagging at some places.
For example:
it's known that hydlaa plaza is lagging very easy.
when items are dropped there, then the servermap gets under high stress and starts lagging very worse.
But not have seen crashes caused by the items yet.

Someone's ingame now, probably Talad. I just looked on laanx.fragnetics, so maybe he's adding something new. :P

If Talad is ingame, then you can know for sure, that something is added or changed.
