Title: help!
Post by: ieatsplaydoh on August 15, 2006, 08:19:36 pm
i just got my drivers installed and I decided to test them on this game.
I have all the requirements, except for the graphics card.
I have an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro with display driver version 8.27.10
I have about 2.0 Ghz prosessor speed and 512 megs of RAM.
I use SuSE linux 10.0
Enough specs, here is my problem:
When I open PlaneShift, it plays a sound and then it does nothing. So I quit out. I go to PlaneShift Setup to adjust things but I can't get the cursor to work. It lags too much.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!
-A very confused linux nooby

First: Calm down.
Second: Try running Planeshift from a console. It should generate plenty of outputwhich you can post here.
Third: Naming a topic "help!" and 'shouting' in a Board won't get you help any faster ...

To wrap it up:
Please give us some more information.
There isn't much to work on up to now.

Hmmm perhaps you should lay off the playdoh - it might help you think clearer ;)
