okay so i finally after a load of trouble get too ALMOST play. i am about too log in bye pressing the log in button and get an error : you are not running the correct version of planeshift. please launch the update launcher.

So i launch the update launcher.
update launcher waits a bit while checking for damaged files. Than this messgae comes : your updater version is newer than the server's... server is out of date ; stopping.

I'm pretty anoyed bye this since this seems like a fine game.

Somebody please help me?

So how do i add the patch too the original file.?

You have to open patch.zip, select all the files inside, and place them within your main PS directory (usually C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue). When you get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite, click on Yes.

If you get a message saying that files are currently in use, reboot and try again.
If when you try to extract files from the patch.zip to place in your PS folder you get a prompt asking you for a password, try putting those files into another temporary folder or another drive entirely first, and then from there into your PS install directory.
