Title: Game cannot be updated!

hi, im new here and I've downloaded the latest version of PlaneShift. When i got to the Updater i clicked "Update" and it says:

Checking registry version...
Couldn't connect to mirror backup!
Ran out of mirrors! Game cannot be updated.

 can someone please help me?  :'(

Make sure you are installing clean when you install the game.  By this I mean, make sure that there isn't already a planeshift folder on your harddrive to where you are trying to install the game to.  If you tried to follow the instructions in the thread by starting over and uninstlling, you have to make sure the planeshift folder got deleted during the uninstall. If it didn't, manually delete it before reinstalling.

If you installed clean, then perhaps something didn't extract right when you went to add the manual patch.  Make sure no files related to planeshift are running in the background, (if you are unsure, a simple reboot will do the trick) and then install the patch, making sure to overwrite the existing file every time it asks.  If it doesn't seem to be working, try extracting the manual patch to a temporary folder first and then manually moving all those files out of the temp folder placing them over top the files in the planeshift install folder.
