I was wondering if i wanted to spellcast alot ,which race would be better for me?

At this point I woldn't say that it matters - magic is still in the "support" field more than anything, with more work being done behind the scenes that will be released within the next couple of updates. Pick a race that you like the look and feel of the most, not because of the stats. And all stats and skills can be trained equally regardless of the character race you choose.
Still, you can look through the Races (http://www.planeshift.it/setting_races.html) and check the starting stats - those with the highest Intelligence and Will will have more MP for magic.

Personaly Enkis make good warriors while Lemurs dine on books for intelligence but i still think Xacha are good mages.
But as far as i can see the enkis are domminant race wide (Thats when im on).

well actually i chose to be an enkidukai because 1. they look rlly cool 2.I wanted to have at least some strenghth 3.they had strength plus some will power(not alot but i can still train it) which will do great since i choose the red way of a mage. Though trust me I was almost about to become a demorian since they had 93 starting for will power.

Colinb I believe the reason there are so many Enkidukais in-game is that it's one of the few skins that have been released.

My character is a male Enkidukai... and he most definately enjoys watching the swishing of a fenki's tail! :innocent:

For Rp sake I think we should call new people rookies or outlanders instead of noobs or newbie’s. Or maybe newly born or new born.

Funny .... me too. :o Do you think there is some sort of subliminal message from karyuu? :P Maybe that's why there are so many enkidukai!
Welcome to planeshift rku576. Pick the character you like the most. It won't effect your magic level, everyone is exposed to the same training. When in game find the magic shop and talk with players around that area. I am sure they can help you to figure out how to start your magic training. Good luck.

Well actually the only problem I have with being a enkidukai is that I can not find hydlaa I mean I've searched everywhere(and have gotten killed alot!) I think I will start asking for directions. :D

Tss, anyone knows the very best magicians are Diaboli, so play one of them!
Though I have to admit...I like those enki tails too.. :innocent:
But you just wait untill magic is expanded and Diaboli have more animations, then they will rule! :devil:
(untill Diaboli get their own mesh instead of the Ynnwn one, then we'll have to start over again, but who cares :P )
