:@#\ im slowly starting to lose it, could somebody help me please:
99.9%, ok 99.8% of the time when i try to leave the forest full of gold, there is a gray screen blocking me; pass through, i crash, run through, i crash, walk backwards, i crash, jump, i crash.
Its right at the point where the brown forest floor turns to sand, to entrance to the forest, or exit however u wana look at it.
Have any of u guys had this problem, and is there a solution?

Any messages upon crashing?

the diagnosis save message, manny times nothing, but the game still running in processes, in task, manager, ummm:
Windows xp
Cellron 2.96 Ghz
512 ddr
256 msi nividia
110 gig hd
dsl
what else....

Sounds like your client is crashing trying to load a new sector map. Could be wrong, but I think it's your installation.
So baring any better educated advice, I would suggest reinstalling.
This should not be too bad if you saved the original installation executable. Rename the "Planeshift Crystal Blue" directory to "Planeshift Crystal Blue.old" in your Programs directory for now and rerun the installation. Don't forget to load the patch from the download page http://www.planeshift.it/download.html.
If everything works out don't forget to delete the .old directory. Good luck.

i had the same problem twice, third time i saw it, i left the game and rejoined, that at least saves any progress and ur inventory. on rejoining i could pass as usual.

i have this problem 100% of the time..and i know its not for just 1 client. it happens on my XP and Linux OS based pcz

I had the same thing happen to me. But i fell in to the groubd in that place.

Confirm, and reported this one already several weeks ago in the bugtracker (but people didn't believe me).
After repeated sector changes, sometimes one of the following sectors doesn't load. Instead, you see the skybox.
If you are lucky, walk boldly into this sector and it loads.
If you aren't, the game may crash. And the next time you log in, you are moved out of the "SectorWhereWeKeep...".

Now I think of it, I had that a couple of times too, that I logged in and it said "moving character out of SectorWhereWeKeepEntitiesResidingInUnloadedMaps. So I'm confirming I guess.

lol in that area where its goes from dark to light it did not load up. Well i stoped and was thinking wtf is going on? Well this guy acting a dwarf kept walking and well.......... He felll..... down into no where......
