Title: Frik Griffonsfire
Post by: RayvenD on August 31, 2006, 12:58:09 am
This is the first concept sketch for a CGI i'm working on based around my dwarf character

Ooh, looks good!

I would first suggest that you cut away that empty white space on top though, and then shrink down the image. 1434 pixels in height won't fit on the great majority of monitors, and scrolling to see an entire image is a pain. The maximum for pictures without an insane level of detail (like a sketch) should be within 800x600.

You have the proportions of the face set just right, and there's definitely a personality there. I would love to see it cleaned up with a few stronger, darker lines emphasizing certain prominant features - and can't wait to see where you'll take it next :]

thanks for the feedback. this was just a t a 10 minute sketch to get the idea of general facial features, i'll be putting up more sketches and then some detailed inks as and when i get them done. eventually it's going to be a large cgi depicted a scene to fit into my characters story.
