Post by: emer on September 04, 2006, 06:36:04 pm
Ok then it finally plays...but it is all lag and jittery...how could i make it faster? I have removed all background music and reduced the graphics thing. but it is still lagging....does it mean that after 2 days of working i cant play it anyway?

-Make sure your system is good enough (you can post your specs here)
-Make sure you have all the latest drivers (!!!).

are these ok:

This gaming base unit has a stylish Raidmax Titan Yellow case with 350w PSU. This contains a AMD Athlon 64 3700+ bit running at a clock speed of 2.4GHz. The graphics is ran by a ATI Radeon 9550 128MB and has a RAM size of 512MB and a 40GB hard drive there is a DVD ROM drive as its primary drive and a DVD combo set for the slave drive this base unit does not contain a floppy drive.

That pc is very nice, except for the graphics card ;)
The 9550 is like an Nvidia Geforce 4 MX, so it's very budget. That really doesn't fit that fast 3700+.
It's like having a ferrari that looks like a fiat panda :P
It *should* be able to run Planeshift though..
Update your drivers?
Go to http://www.ati.com/ go to the Drivers & Software menu and download the latest drivers for your card.

had problem with all 3 of my ati cards even with fully up-dated drivers. Solution:

Sold the basterds and got a MSI FX5500 (Nvidia with 512 mb of video ram)...sweeeet
