u can run the updater now but after its done its first thing u need to delete version.dat and u get all the new stuff. \\o// i think serva is up now too

and is the kran armor on the krans yet. lol i havnt seen a kran yet.

the updater isn't working for me for some reason, it starts to and then it closes halfway through the process. any ideas?

ok we (us ingame at harny)
saw the chainmail on tarel its pretty cool lookin but thats all the kran armor atm

no it's working now, but it keeps failng to update the client, i guess i'll just keep trying

yeah but even then it says in the updater that it failed to update psclient.exe just gonna keep trying until it works i think.

ok good news it updates and lets me play the game only problem was it failed to update up and i had to edit the settings first other wise it was set to 0 x 0 screen resolution and a colour depth not was selected.. all in all no biggy... because I can play ps again \\o//

Yeah, we have some helms of Drat 'Er that we'll distribute for free ^_^
Btw, teh updater will update the updater [I just love how that sounds :P] and then exit without replacing any files. I checked the "Skip updater checks" and that will download the stuff needed for the game. If anybody has that problem... well, that should be a fix. Or the updater -auto command...

Yeah, they have models... They look like... well, you don't want to know what they look like...

The poin was that when the helmets will be availeble, we'll all see them.

I got that from [GM]Dave, that was the funnyes post evarr! :P
And about releasing stuff... GMs don't release stuff, developpers do that. Let's hope the helms will be ingame soon.

I keep updating but it exits at the end of the update.
Should i just keep updating or try what you said gon?

After erasing (actually renaming ;D ) my version.dat, every option reverted back to something "default"
I mean: I had to re-select video size, skin, and re-align/set/modify all in-game windows... so long, so fine! Now I remember I could set the size of the toolbar to be smaller, but I canpt figure out how I did it :-\
Any help?

I'm going to keep updating till a GM or dev mentions changing that file or deleting it.

that happened to me too. just reset ur gui back to the way it was. datruth i dunno mine went thru perfectly did it first download the new updater then ay to delete version.dat then update again? thats exactly what happened to me :)
croconil. ur joining my guild rnt u. ur ingame names croconil isnt it? ask one of the warlords or chazarus t oadd u to guild.

Heres what i did, i ran the updater like a million times, but it exits itself at the end.
Then i did what you said, removed the version file, and tried to update, same problem, exited itself at the end.
Tried to play the game didn't work.
Put the Version file back, didn't work.
Updated the game again with the version file, try to go in, didn't work.
So basically i'm stuck, and i don't know what to do.

I ran updater
it started updating itself
in the process i got message that cupandtalon.ttf can't be copied (i altered it and set read only so that updater wont delete it, but appearently because of some reason it couldn't come)
i clicked cancel
After that the updater wouldn't even launch (somethink got broken and i couldn't find out what)
So i moved all my mods to my PS backup
ran updater
it started updating itself
in the process i got message that cupandtalon.ttf can't be copied (i changed the file back to normal)
clicked try again
The updater told me to delete the version.dat and restart
i deleted it and didn't restarted updater
i udated and now the update is complete ;)
So you eighter need PS backup, or instal file to install it again and update.

Nah, it wasn't my fault, it's fixed now.
It was on their end.
They fixed the problem, and now i updated.
Everythings fine now.
